Lonely Kadayan Universe collided with steroid.
What did we learn from our recent country’s 12th General Election, there must be a few?
I shall be explaining cursorily, but first, I would like say something on the connection between the Kadayan Universe (kadayanuniverse.com) and the recent general election.
Many Kadayan and non Kadayan alike find this is trivial if not strange. Nonetheless, for me it’s relevant, because Kadayan Universe meant to be the mouthpiece of Kadayan in as far as the portal owner is concerned. One can dispute whether Kadayan Universe represents Kadayan community is another issue. If anyone dares to challenge by all means do come forward.
But let me say my piece, first, I congratulate Kadayan Universe portal owner for being able to survive for the last three years. That is in itself an achievement. Forget cynics whose only work is to ridicule the good effort when they did nothing since the last 44 years (of this field).
For those aren’t sure of the right tract, just go on follow your own instinct. This is how the ugly, weak little frog succeeded in reaching the peak of the mountain-if you know what I mean.
Kadayan universe financed privately by individual, whose unshattering love of his ethnic, with a sole purpose to inform people of the existence of Kadayan on the face of the earth. To go a step further, Kadayan Universe is keen to play a role just like any other on line media which could provide forum and intellectual discussions.
For that long years Kadayan Universe was seen by many as a loner, don’t even talk about a helping hand. The size of Kadayan Universe is no larger than of a mosquito, how can it become significant.
But as put by the Menteri Besar Kelantan Tok Guru Nik Aziz, tsunami is in the making with regard to the result general election.
It is equally true Kadayan Universe was flooded days before polling day, portal administrator was awakened by unexpected volume of traffic.
Kadayan Universe was jammed, thousands visitors thronged clicking their key boards though it wasn't as bad as Malaysiakini and Malaysia Today, but the upsurge was an indication soon in the future, I bet, this media is going to be more relevant.
This was therefore enough to boggle my mind to write, when I checked its age, it is already longer than my son's love bird which died a couple of days ago at the age of less than two years.
Kadayan Universe is on its way to becoming relevant media, started as small black dot in white screen now turns to becoming the voice of people which may out shadow the objective of its establishment. But again, for me its never mind, I don't see any harm expanding beyond the original idea.
Thank to the government restrictions on admitting critical ideas on printed media which resulted readers turn to alternative media-the online blog.
Thank to the government curtailing views which they consider opposite to theirs.
Only the pro government enjoys the benefit. The relax in nature all this while isn't by designed or on purpose, but rather inability of our leaders particularly the Prime Minister to control the administration of the country, I don’t think consensus makes administration lame as his usual excuse.
Even Tun Dr Mahathir said, that his voice now is only heard via the on line media in particular Malaysiakini, the media he hated most when he was Prime Minister.

Inda ku baapa paham lai, apa maksud mu "Lonely Kadayan Universe collided with steroids". Bila ASTEROIDS tu ada jua logiknya. Steroids ni maksudnya sajinis bahan kimia / perubatan / dadah. Cuba lihit-lihat dikit. Taima kasih.
