Lahad Datu Stand-Off: Peaceful Solution Isn't an Option Since The Begining

6.45pm: Sabah police chief Hamza Taib confirms at a press conference that 12 Sulu gunmen were killed in the operation, besides two Malaysian commandos.

I would like to extend my deepest condolences to the family of Inspektor Zulkifli Mamat Insp. Zulkifli Mamat & Sarjan Sabarudin from VAT69** whom were killed during the operation. Al-Fatihah.

As much as we, with the sound mind, hate the bloody outcome of this stand-off, peaceful solution is not really an option since day one.

Especially when a group of heavily armed foreigner sneaking into Malaysian soil claiming that they came in peace.

First, they are foreigners.
Second, they are armed.
Third, they claimed that a huge part of Malaysia's territory belong to them.

How peaceful can it be?

**Very Able Trooper (since) 1969, an elite commando unit that is created since 1969 as part of Royal Malaysian Police Force.
