The veteran, three terms as YB -DUN Sindumin, Datuk Hj Sapawi Hj Ahmad now is heading for Parliament instead.
May be this new territory causes little problem for him facing a new man from KEADILAN Tuan Hj Karim Bin Tassim. Another Sipitang local, a former school teacher from kampong Tg Pagar, Sipitang.
Just to mention Hj Karim is the first Brunei, I spell it as Brunai, another close friend of Kadayan Monitor.
I did not now know much about Datuk Hj Sapawi Ahmad in person.
He was born in Kampong Mesapol, about 4 km north of Sipitang town.
He attended his secondary school in Peninsular Malaysia among one of the thousands who were sponsored by Yayasan Sabah. He did his undergarduate degree at University Kebangsaan Malaysia.
Datuk Hj Sapawi, who is the incumbent YB, as said by many should have little problem for not withholding with his title YB, after all the facilities-BN has everything all colossal and mighty against the opposition, not to mention posters.
But I think voters this time around would make their on judgment based on his performance for the last three terms. If what the YB did for them is good enough, then the forthcoming result would be reflected.

Patut sudah baanti bah ia ani.
Kalau Dr Yusof dibersarakan, liau ani pun patut begitu juga, kerana angkatan-angkatannya pun sama juga
