Lim Kit Siang was pelted with eggs

(Daily Express) - DAP advisor Lim Kit Siang was pelted with eggs when he arrived to launch the party's Pesta Kaamatan Fair at Tanjung Aru Plaza, Sunday.

It is believed that a former disgruntled Kota Kinabalu branch chairman hurled the eggs at him. One missed while the other landed on his chest but did not break.

Lim, who was unshaken by the incident, said later that he had forgiven the former member who had been stripped of his membership several years ago.

The man was detained by police following the incident but later released when no charges were pressed against him.
