Here we go again. Now bloggers cry foul over government empty promises on internet freedom. It clearly, and nicely put on display on MSC website while our Home Minister publicly defends SKMM decision to ban malaysia-today.net.

This article has been designed as malaysiakini.com's friendly article.

Google go away! Malaysia censors the Internet. While Asian countries are battling each other for Google's attention because Google wants to build a multi-billion dollar data centre, we are telling Google to go and fly kite elsewhere.

Promises Are Meant To Be Broken? 26th day of August, 2008 marked a new era under the Government of Barisan Nation which was witnessed by Rakyat. Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim won the Permatang Pauh By-Election. Another incident which the writer is more concern is: Malaysian Communication Multimedia Commission (MCMC) has ordered all internet service providers (ISPs) to block Malaysia Today.

Under Mahatir Silly Corridor (MSC) Malaysia 10 Point Bill of Guarantee, #7 to be exact, government has promises that it ensures that there will be NO Internet censorship. Let me reiterate, no censorship means no ban.

The ban on malaysia-today.net is a clear censorship. Government doesn't seems to care about Mahatir Silly Corridor's Charter any more. Therefore, lets see how international community responds to Malaysia's breach of promise.
