Right, that exactly what we need to do.

But Pak Lah sir, how about being a bit more specific on how to simulate growth in the economy?

I don't lie to you, please ask all-clever Malaysian economists. To simulate it is all about spending .... to spend, spend and spend.

First we need to attract investors and now as you may aware of, they kinda shy away from Malaysia.

And we can't regain investor's confidence simply by blamming somebody's else. That bigmouth 916 orator got nothing to do with the current damage.

Second, government needs to spend, this is not a time to jimat cermat, but to spend. It will simulate growth. But why gomen now busy on petrol pricing meetings? Where got road like this.

Govt to focus on stimulating economic growth, says PM

Putra Jaya (daily express) : The government will be focussing on stimulating and accelerating economic growth taking into account the deepening financial crisis originating from the United States, Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said Tuesday.

He said that with inflation having peaked and beginning to abate, the focus now should be to stimulate and accelerate economic growth.

"In light of the challenges ahead, we will continue to draw up a comprehensive package of measures to address the current economic issues as well as for the medium and long term," he said in his opening remarks at the Economic Council Meeting here.

He said that several measures in Budget 2009 to strengthen Malaysia's economic resilience and competitiveness as well as to lighten the burden of inflation on the lower and medium group has been announced.
