Yeah right. No law will stay forever. No hair will stay forever too.
But judging from history of Malaya peninsular and Borneo island, most laws stay longer than any politicians. Hamid was just 16 years old when ISA introduced in post-independence Federation of Malaya. And its expected to stays so long BN remains in power.
The smiling defender of universe
Cut in short, ISA's life will last longer than the last and the luckiest of someone's hairs.
And I'm confident that ISA will still alive long enough to watch a particular someone's head goes bald completely, should BN government continue to rule.
So what difference does it make between not staying forever and stay longer? Both are scarry, as it concerns on our lifetime.
No law will stay forever, says Hamid
Johor (dailyexpress): No law created by man will stay forever and that included the country's preventive law, the Internal Security Act (ISA), said Home Minister Datuk Seri Syed Hamid Albar.
Speaking after breaking fast at the Johor Police Contingent Headquarters, Saturday, he said the Government would always look into amending laws in accordance with the demands of changes and time.
But before that could happen, the people should love their country by ensuring peace and security, he said.
"In this country, we want to build a nation where the people understand their responsibility towards each other and also the sensitivities of the various races," he said.
