(rockybru.blogspot.com) I wonder what Azalina, our Tourism Minister, thinks about the the Backbenchers' act of promoting outbound tourism (and to Taiwan, for that matter!).
And I wonder, too, what she thinks about the RM36 million that will be spent on a website proposed by her Ministry that is said to be capable of boosting Malaysian tourism over the next three years. That's RM1 million a month just to maintain a website. How expensive is that? Extortionate, I'd say.
But for the sake of fairplay and transparency, let's have the details of the website, shall we? It's the proposal that was passed by a sleepy Cabinet just before the start of Ramadan, I believe.
